so basically no product?? well, my frined used to get in the shower and he would wash his hair and everything, and then a little later, when his hair was damp but not wet, he would put some shampoo into it and the shampoo would keep his hair in a mohawk shape, and it smelled great too, lol. other than that, i dont think you can do it without gel wax and hairspray, but you should tr the shower thing, it works =D

It depends on how long your hair is. If it's fairly short you could try using a blow dryer and blow drying what you want spiked upsidedown. If you're worried about the "too much product" look, there's tons of stuff out there now that looks like you're wearing nothing. Just ask your hair stylist or something.
