Will it damage your hair to put body spray on it?

Does anyone know if it's damaging to spray a little body spray on your hair to make it smell nice? I've always been paranoid to try it?

Will it damage your hair to put body spray on it?

Body sprays contain alot of alcohol that is damage hair. If you want a nice smell try Victoria Secret hair products, they sell shampoo, conditoner, and hair spray. They all smell just like their bath%26amp;body products. When they first came out I sprayed the hair spray and thought it was just a new body spray bottle.

Hair Mousse or SPray?

My hair is extremely curly and most mousse's and sprays are volumizing and everything and i just need something to eliminate frizz and hold my curls. Any suggestions, I prefer mousse..

Hair Mousse or SPray?

Check out the line of products called "Frizz-Eazz". My spelling is not correct, but they are excellent products. There are laminates available which you apply to soaking wet hair %26amp; comb through. They take a little getting used to, but work great once you get the hang of it. They also add shine.

Hair Mousse or SPray?

get salon products.. that actually work.

you dont need mousse or spray, you can just buy a cream that you apply after washing your hair when it's damp.

I highly recommend Redken hotsets (hot sets 22 thermal setting mist) Great and not too expensive. You can get it at a lot of salons that have products for sale. Redken is known for its good products.

If you go to a salon and they don't have Redken, check out their other "heat styling" products.

My wife uses Andrew Collinge (perfect endings) and her hair always looks great. It's for wet or dry application.

What brand sea salt spray for my hair would you recommend?

i have dark medium length hair, and what else should i do with my hair while using the spray to create the beachy look?

What brand sea salt spray for my hair would you recommend?

You should try Mark. It's made by Avon and it works great. You could also try a little spray gel to hold the waves.

What brand sea salt spray for my hair would you recommend?

As for brand....I usually just make my own. I put some sea salt, water, and a little bit of Paul Mitchell's "The Conditioner" in a spray bottle mix it up and spray it in wet hair. It comes out really wavy and beachy.

Here's a pic i took of it.

What brand sea salt spray for my hair would you recommend?

I am a Pa Licensed Hairdresser for the past 12 years and I do not recomend using sea salt on your hair. Sea Salt will dry out your hair. For a beachy look I recomend you seeing a licenced hairdresser. Ask for a heavy highlight using the natural look. Tell them you want to achieve to go as blonde as poss. When I do my clients I use 30-40 volume with blue or violet Kalidacolors. Where are you located?

Can you suggest a frizz taming spray for the hair???

I use hair serum on my hair but after blow drying, there are still a few little fly away bits...I don't want to smooth over more serum cos I find it weighs down my hair and makes it flat. I use a UV spray by Kerastasse that gives protection and also helps. But can you suggest anything else..it must be light and not weigh hair down....ideally a spray.

Thank you

Can you suggest a frizz taming spray for the hair???

If it weighs down your hair maybe you are putting too much serum in your hair-you only need a tiny bit.I use John Frieda Frizzeaze-it's brilliant.

Can you suggest a frizz taming spray for the hair???

Root lifting spray for your hair????

The catwalk root boost in your picture is effective, but can leave the hair feeling sticky and stiff. Paul Mitchell's gives a softer finish.

Root lifting spray for your hair????

every line has one, so you really nee to find which one works best on your hair. If you buy the product in a salon it is guarenteed so you can bring it back if you don't like it and try another one. My clients LOVE Big Sexy Hair root lifter. It is a spray on root volumizer and is humidity resistant. You don'r have to use alot either. Less is more! Hope this helps you!

Can detangling spray damage your hair?

I have straight but very thick hair...would it damage my hair if I regularly used detangling spray on it?

Can detangling spray damage your hair?

It doesn't damage your hair. I use it all of the time and it works really well. Try one with vitamins in it so it can also help your hair.

Can detangling spray damage your hair?

Detangling spray doesnt damage it works like a charm

Can detangling spray damage your hair?

any product you put in your hair damages your hair... that's why I never wash mine :-D

Can detangling spray damage your hair?

It won't at all damage your hair, but you do want to be mindful of HOW you comb your hair while tangled. Use a wide tooth comb, and comb gently.

Do you condition your hair? If you don't, you may want to try it, and comb your hair while the conditioner is in it with wide tooth comb. I'm talking wide enough to be able to put the tip of your pinky finger in between teeth

Can detangling spray damage your hair?

No, instead it will help prevent the damage you have from combing out knots. Dont be afraid to use it. It will make it so much easier for you to comb through your hair. Also, use mane and tail conditioner and shampoo. Its excellent for long hair and detangling.

Can detangling spray damage your hair?

Hey there! I recently found the BEST detangler of all for my hair. Last week in fact. Jojoba oil works like a charm! It is the best item I've ever used in my hair. My hair is always prone to alot of tangles because my hair is dry. The jojoba oil really moisturizes well without weighing my hair down. If your hair isn't too dry use a little. If it's dry use more. I usually use about a nickel size and spread it all over my hands then evenly distribute throughout the ends of my hair.

Previously I had used:

coconut oil (didn't moisturize enough ~ hard to wash out),

olive oil (not enough moisturizing),

carrot oil (actually dried mine ~ could've been an additive),

grapeseed oil (too hard 2 wash out %26amp; built up ~think I used too much ~ a little goes a lonnnggg way). This oil is very good for other things as well. Imagination's the limit ;-)

Shea butter (haven't used enough to see how this works, plus I'd like to try the unrefined version as well before determining if this works). Shea is SO versatile for many applications besides hair.

As you can see I've had many trial and errors over the years.

So far I totally LOVE the jojoba oil. Try it ~ worth it for $5.

Later I'm going to dilute some in a spray bottle with water to see what results I get that way. Just looking for more ways to evenly distribute this awesome stuff.

Where can I get spray stuff to spray on my hair before I straighten it?

I've been lookin for spray to spray on my hair before straightening it to protect it, keep frizz away, and keep my curly hair straight. Just tell me where I can find it like at wal mart or what? If so, what name brand is best??? Please help!!!閳?br>Where can I get spray stuff to spray on my hair before I straighten it?

At Wal-Mart, Walgreens, or a grocery store you can find just the spray you're looking for: V05 heat defense (can't remember if that is the actual title, but that is the brand). I used to use that when I straightened my hair and it worked great.

Where can I get spray stuff to spray on my hair before I straighten it?

I get mine at Sally's Beauty Supply, and the brand of mine is Beyond the Zone. It works great for my hair, and my hair is VERY curly.

Where can I get spray stuff to spray on my hair before I straighten it?

Walmart should have different brands like L'Oreal, Garnier Fructis, Herbal Essences (which do a pretty good job for a $5 product). If you want the more high end products you should go to a salon.

Where can I get spray stuff to spray on my hair before I straighten it?

Kerastase Oleo Relax is great. I have curly hair and straighten it often. I buy mine at my hair salon. They have a website (www.kerastase.com) that can help you find a salon that carries their products.

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair

What thermal spray should I use? How should i use it so that it doesn't wet my hair.

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair.Any idea?

You need to read it and if it says it should be used on dry hair before flat ironing, then hold it 10 inches away from your head and lightly mist it. The sound is probably from too much product on your hair and also you probably see steam from the moisture in the product. Alterna makes an awesome flat iron spray called straightening starch and it smells yummy. I love that one the best.

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair.Any idea?

Thermal spray should be used before blow drying. It then gets absorbed in to your hair and protects it from the heat. If it makes a noise(sizzles) it's actually ok, it's just steam, not smoke, and it's not burning your hair.

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair.Any idea?

i suggest you use thermal spray, before blown drying

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair.Any idea?

Yeah, and something else could possibly happen right after that noise.. Let's see.. it's called...hmmm!

Oh, yeah, I remember now: Electricute.

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair.Any idea?

You should use the spray before you dry your hair. You could also try a leave in conditioner that you apply before you dry your hair. It is best to have some sort of product on your hair so that when you do use the flat iron it won't burn your hair.

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair.Any idea?

i wouldn't use that thermal spray and try some thing i am not sure what you could use though ,sorry

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair.Any idea?

you don't necessarily HAVE to use thermal protectors before blow drying. If you apply it just before the flat iron, simply combing it through with a comb will usually stop the snap, crackle and pop.

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair.Any idea?

hmmmm...i think ur spose 2 use it b 4 u blow dry ur hair

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair.Any idea?

That noise you hear is actually steam popping, and it can damage your hair.

I suggest you try a great product by Redkin called Spray Starch. Its excellent for straitening, and even if you use it in the morning, and want to touch your hair up in the evening; you don't need to apply more. The heat from the curling iron reactivates it.

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair.Any idea?

YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO USE IT WHEN YOUR HAIR IS WET OR THAT MEANS ITS BURNING YOUR HAIR STUPID

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair.Any idea?

AFTER WASH AND CONDTIONING THE HAIR APPLY THERMAL SPRAY WHILE HAIR IS DAMP.BLOW DRY HAIR BY SECTIONS LIKE PUTTING A CROSS INTO THE MIDDLE OF YOUR HEAD.THEN USE YOUR FLAT IRON.

Thermal spray wets my hair. When i use my flat iron it makes a noise as though my iron is on wet hair.Any idea?

use the spray before u dry ur hair

A spray for smelly hair?

I once saw a spray at Target a couple years ago that was supposed to 'revitalize' morning-after hair from the smell of smoke, sleep, etc. Does anyone know what the product is and if there's something like it I could buy?

And don't tell me to just wash my hair! lol. I want to use it for times when I wake up and go to the gym, grocery, etc. before I shower for the day. Thanks!

A spray for smelly hair?

Bath and Body works has a hair deodorizer in several scents and I think it's 4.95 .I have some plumeria and I bought it for the same reason you are looking to buy.If you are not a Bath and Body Works kinda person I also know that Paul Mitchell has one as well, however the price difference is probly substantial. Some people use regular perfume but if you have color on your hair and you use it daily it will dry out your hair and may do some color damage not to mention I don't want to waste Chanel #5 on my hair either.Good luck go to a beauty supply shop they may have something too.

A spray for smelly hair?

Uhh..Well thats kinda gross your hair smells in the morning. You should just shower every morning..And you shouldnt have a problem.

A spray for smelly hair?

You can try to spray some of your perfume on your brush before you brush your hair.

A spray for smelly hair?

paul mitchell has one. i don't remember the name , but it's a spray on leave in conditioner that gets rid of stink.

it's also great for deoderizing the home (bathroom)

almost any spray on leave in conditioners will work.

A spray for smelly hair?

shower every morning w/special shampoo

A spray for smelly hair?

Shower; use lemon juice.

A spray for smelly hair?

Baby powder your roots and strands.

A spray for smelly hair?

try ZA hair perfume

or..

you can use baby's hair lotion, put it in a spray bottle.

i use it and totally love it. smells good!

A spray for smelly hair?

This is one that's advertised as a hair mist that leaves hair smelling clean.

A spray for smelly hair?

Just read your question!! Of course my ole man and I just saw the intro!! Yes, the first thing I said was How about shampooing it!! I gotta kick out of reading the whole question and how you beat me to the shampoo punch!! My hubby, was much nicer, as soon as I said that he said maybe she means for when your hair smells from a perm!! Anyway, I do not know of any product that you are asking about, I hope you find it, I just had to tell you I enjoyed your question, have a great day!

A spray for smelly hair?

Hiya

I have the nicest spray that I use on my hair it smells lovely!!!! Its made by Tigi Bed head and is called headrush. It comes in a bright pink can with green lid. It acts a shine mist but has the most amazing smell its perfect for using on hair when it smells of smoke etc like you want.

A spray for smelly hair?

Animal,

this might seem odd put when I used to have smelly hair I would spray febreeze in it...the concept works for fabric and apparently hair too.

Hair gel, spray, mousse, etc. Which to use?

I am a male who keeps my hair fairly short.

Anyhow, I need a product that will make my hair manageable, but I don't want helmet head (extremely stiff hair). I've been using some type of mousse, and I dislike it, because my hair turns into a rock.

I want something that has a bit of holding power, because my hair likes to stick up on the sides near the top, and I want my hair to remain soft after the stuff dries. Soft hair is a must.

Anyone have any recommendations? I am fairly naive when it comes to hair care products.

Also, what are some of the ingredients to avoid? I've heard some hair care products have ingredients in them that have adverse effects on a person's health.

Hair gel, spray, mousse, etc. Which to use?

try panteene firm hold gel

Hair gel, spray, mousse, etc. Which to use?

grow it out and make it disheveled. women love the wild look on guys these days

Hair gel, spray, mousse, etc. Which to use?

well, all gel types keep the hair strong. But, try to use styling cream instead of gel. It will give you the look you want.

Could cologne/body spray damage my hair?

I like to spray cologne and body spray in my hair, because it makes my skin feel dry. Just a spritz for a light scent -- I don't drench it.

Could this hurt my hair? I know alcohol is the main ingredient in all the scents I use, but it's also a major ingredient in lots of hair products anyway.

Could cologne/body spray damage my hair?

Alcohol evaporates really fast--it wouldn't stay long enough to do any real damage.

The alcohols in most hair products don't evaporate fast because they are fatty alcohols, but these are designed to help your hair.

Could cologne/body spray damage my hair?

nope, it's not stripping enough to damage your hair. you'll just smell nice! plus, the scent lasts much longer in your hair than on your skin.

Could cologne/body spray damage my hair?

No I dont think it would do anything to your hair except make it smell good =]

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

I have got bleached highlighted hair. I have a problem cos my hair gets greasy. I straighten it every day and need a heat protection spray that actually works! and doesnt make it 2 greasy!!! really need help as it either is too greasey or way too dry. Any sugesstions to heat protection spray?? Also which shampoo, asi want to keep the colour from going golden

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

You need a good thermal protectant. Try something from Tigi like Fashionista Smooth and Shine. If your hair is greasy especially after being bleached, you're probably using too much product. Just don't use something like BioSilk. This actually damages your hair because it has alcohol in it: your hair looks better temporarily because it fills in the damage, but it's really creating more damage.

Use a purple shampoo (because the color cancels out brassiness) once a week.

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

probably nothing works that well. Can't you get away with just using a quality moisturising leave- in serum? It will be better for your hair. Or I fear you may end up with a pile of straw like a birds nest on your head.

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

Try this! Also the tresemme shampoos are brill too!!

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

you should use tresemme heat protection , its non-greasy and is gr8 for straighteners n curlers , i have streaked hair and i use it.

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

Lee Stafford does a brilliant spray, you can buy it in Boots.

Shampoo V05 does a really good shampoo for blond hair.

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

I have bleach highlighted hair, and i have been straightning it everyday for like 3 years!!

Trust me my hair was damaged, but it looks really healthy now because i use salon products and not supermarket products.

Salon products improve the condition of the hair a million percent!

My hairdresser has told me the BEST heat protector which is on the market right now.

Its called Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique. It is a cream which you put on before you blow dry or straighten, and it will protect your hair from 190 Degree heat damage!!!! It also lasts up to 5 hair washes, so it does not need to be applied each time you wash your hair.

Yes it is expensive, but if you want healthy hair which is protected from damage, you have to get this product.

Other sprays only protect hair from 130 Degrees, but hair straightners maximum degree is 170-180 degrees!!

You can buy it from professional hair salons, or from this website...

http://www.lookfantastic.com/cgi-bin/lf....

good luck.

P.S whoever gave me the thumbs down is pathetic!

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

I love the one from TIGI and also Rusk. Artec makes the most pigment depositing shampoo for a violet tone. Alternate it with your regular shampoo. Best of luck.

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

use Matrix Vavoom Gold Heat Iron-In Protective Mist. Its sold in salons and has a bit of serumy stuff in it that makes your hair soft and shiny, without it going greasy.

It is quite expensive for regular use though, at 鎷?.95 a bottle, but it is really good!!

xx

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

Ive got very blond highlighted hair and use one from avon the advanced techniques stuff. I think its really light on your hair, smells really nice and its not expensive either. If I was you I'd just try different ones till you found one suited as everyones different, ask your hairdresser or just ring around and ask some sure they wont mind! And they are the professionals

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

Tresemme heat protection spray is really good.

Aveda do fantastic range of shampoos and conditioners for coloured hair, the blue malva is excellent for blondes but dont let the colour of it put you off cos its bright purple. They are all natural too so you dont get any chemical build up. Available on www.qvcuk.com and in Debenhams and some salons.

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

Hi I find most heat protection sparys either leave a coating on the hair or make the hair go lank and greasy which is what your exeperiacing, I have found a few products that do this, but most of the other products that dont do this dont work.

The tresemme one is very light but i dont think it protects for the heat that well. I was recommended to get Infratreat you can get it from Sally's. I think its great, a bit expensive thought but worth it.

As for a shampoo have you tried Timoteis one for blonde or highlighted hair this is great and is half the price you pay for salon makes. Also a good conditioner is best too.

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

once you straighten your hair put a little bit of talc on it to absorb the grease

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

Using heat protection spray before straightening hair?

the directions on my heat defence spray say that I should spray it onto my hair directly before straightening but the spray wets my hair and then when i use the irons my hair seems to sizzle. It seems strange to use straighteners on damp hair and i'm worried that i might be damaging my hair by doing this?

Using heat protection spray before straightening hair?

Spray the heat defense about 1 foot away from your head then wait about five minutes before you begin to straighten. This has happened to me, and after asking salon people about it, it definitely worked and no more sizzling!

Using heat protection spray before straightening hair?

wait until the spray dries or use a pomade for hair straitening instead. those tend to work better.

Using heat protection spray before straightening hair?

if it's sizzling then it probably is damaging your hair. try spraying the protection spray further away and using less of it. otherwise you could just wait till your hair dried.

Using heat protection spray before straightening hair?

aww no ok i did this too somtime let it dry a little or cool dry it with a low settign blow dryer i did this to yea it does wet your hair but you just dont go and then run the flat iron through your hair no let it dry some

Using heat protection spray before straightening hair?

i use the sunsilk therma shine detangling heat protection spray. i just spray it on, comb it, and heat style. my hair never sizzles. this spray i can use right away.

for some sprays, though, you might have to blow dry your hair first. or just wait untilk the spray is dried onto your hair. when your hair sizzles, the "life" is literally being sucked out of it.

good luck.

Using heat protection spray before straightening hair?

try holding the bottle farther away from your hair. I use Treseme Heat Defense Spray and It helps. I also have a Revlon Wet to Straight Hair Straightener so if your hair is still damp or gets damp it dries and striaghtens it. They only cost $25 and i use it everyday. The straightener has a steamer in it and teflon covered plats. No matter what straightener or spray you use it still damages you hair. Sorry:(

Using heat protection spray before straightening hair?

Your hair shouldn't be very damp when your flat iorning it. For best results you should use a blow dryer to dry it out compleetly then straighten it. Using good salon products will protect your hair. Try Redken Heat Glide. It might cost alot, but it's worth it.

How long wil spray in hair dye last?

im spraying my whole head blue for crazy hair day at school will it stay in all while im at school or will it chip off and get onto my white [unifor] shirt? what can i do to prevent this from happening? also my hair is not that long like shoulder lenth.

How long wil spray in hair dye last?

I am a youth leader at my church and last year at the fall festival (our halloween) I sprayed the girls hair blue and orange. Here are some tips.

Style your hair first

Cover your clothes with a towel

Have a warm wet washcloth ready and a little soap handy for any spray that might get on your skin.

If you are a sweaty person or are in gym class during the day or have a pep rally ... dont spray all over, or it will run.

I would do streaks for an 8 hour school day. This stuff is stiffening and can look bad by the end of the day. Another option is a colored gel which you can find online or in a walmart salon or other salon.

Good Luck and Have a great day on Spirit Day.

How long wil spray in hair dye last?

From a can? If it is from a can then it will stay in untill you wash it out with shampoo. %26amp;nd the only way it can get onto your shirt is if you rub against your shirt.

How long wil spray in hair dye last?

usualy it will come out when you shampoo but some will stay for about a week.

How long wil spray in hair dye last?

i think it depends on the brand. you may want to look on the packaging which may say how long it will stay in. i think your talking about spray kind from the can? that should just stay in until you wash it out in the shower. =]

Heat protection spray on bleached hair?

once you straighten your hair put a little bit of talc on it to absorb the grease

if I use it one wet hair do i still have to use hair protective serum/spray?

Do you have to use a heat protector spray if you are using a straightener desighned for wet and dry hair?

yes, i would.

no matter if your hairs wet OR dry, you still need to use a protectant, because the cuticle is bare, and prone to damage from the extreme heat.

its still being exposed to damage regardless.

try to find a mousse designed one, or similar, that wil cover all your hair, the spray isnt that great a coverage.

:)

I would still use the protective spray, straightening your hair can really damage it, so i would definately use the protectant spray just to be safe!

i really dont know but having a heat protecter spray really helps your hair get away from all the damage from the straighter but not all of it but pretty much

Do you have to use a heat protector spray if you are using a straightener desighned for wet and dry hair?

i usually do, you dont have to, but if you want your hair to stay healthy either use a heat protecter spray or leave in conditioner, i use both so my hair is strong, shiny, and straight. hope i helped :]

Do you have to use a heat protector spray if you are using a straightener desighned for wet and dry hair?

Yeah you should use it no matter what just to keep it from damaging your hair.

Do you have to use a heat protector spray if you are using a straightener desighned for wet and dry hair?

I would if you want to protect your hair. Straigtening wet hair would do more damage than dry hair. If you straighten your hair very often then you definitely should use protector spray. I have the CHI brand, but honestly the V05 works the same and it's a cheap price.

What would you do if: You are confronted by a bear and you have a lighter, wood, and hair spray?

light a fire and put it's hair in rollers and maybe give it lowlights.

What would you do if: You are confronted by a bear and you have a lighter, wood, and hair spray?

i would ditch the wood, light the lighter and push the button on the hair spray to set it on fire.

What would you do if: You are confronted by a bear and you have a lighter, wood, and hair spray?

That wood and lighter alone with the hair spray would be traveling with me cause I would be getting the hell out of dodge from that bear.

What would you do if: You are confronted by a bear and you have a lighter, wood, and hair spray?

Scream and probably drop everything I'm holding.

ANSWER: Visit the FAA's Civil Aviation Security Passenger Information page containing many frequently asked questions. (unfortunately, they point to a bad link to an FAA site in this answer)

This link from the TSA website should tell you what you need:

Current TSA Rules on Liquids and Gels in Carry On Baggage

On 10 August 2006, authorities in the United Kingdom uncovered an alleged plot to sabotage as many as 10 U.S. airliners traveling from the United Kingdom to the United States, reportedly by using liquid and gel based explosives. Over 20 suspects were arrested in the UK as part of the ongoing investigation into this alleged plot.

U.S. authorities currently have several restrictions on what liquids and gels a passenger may carry on board:

Passengers may bring into the secure area of the airport liquid and gel products, so long as the items are carried in a clear plastic food storage type bag with a capacity of no more than one quart.

Each passenger is allowed only one of these quart sized plastic bag for their liquids and gels.

These would be items such as shampoo, suntan lotion, creams, toothpaste, hair gel, and other items of similar consistency.

Each individual container must have a capacity of no greater than three ounces.

Passengers may not pass through the security screening with gel or beverage containers of greater capacity.

Once a passenger has passed through security screening, they can purchase any size beverage and other liquid or gel products in the terminal and take them on to the plane.

There are exceptions to these above rules. Baby formula, breast milk, prescription medications, and over-the-counter medications (liquids, gels, or aerosols) can be in containers larger than three ounces, and do not have to be inside of a quart sized plastic bag, but have to be declared at the security checkpoint.

Gel-filled medical devices such as bras and prosthetics are also excluded from this ban.

Solid cosmetics and personal hygiene items such as lipstick in a tube, solid deodorant, lip balm and similar solids. Please remember these items must be solid and not liquid, gel or aerosol.

Once past the security checkpoint, you are free to buy liquid gel products of any size within the secure areas of the airport terminal and take them on board.

If you have questions or doubts on about an item, place that item in your checked baggage.

How do I get a permanent black marker stain off a white polo, I used the hair spray, nair polish remover?

Methylated spirit removes ink and grass stains, apply with a soft cloth, and rinse straight away with warm water

How do I get a permanent black marker stain off a white polo, I used the hair spray, nair polish remover?

Oxyclean works on most stains, but the black marker is really tough. I would try that or wear the polo just around the house.

Get some right guard sport spray on deodorant, it takes it of of everything!!!

Goo-Gone might take it off. I have also taken paint off with Bug and Tar Remover (for cars). Might work on marker. Smells horrible, though; use it outside!

Clorox Bleach? But make sure to dilute it a bit with some water.

Depending on the location of the mark, you could also try some kind of white paint. There's probably some kind of special fabric paint you could buy, too, that wouldn't come off when you washed it.

My wife is driving me crazy..why would she buy a bottle of some lotion, shampoo, hair spray, etc...u

about 1/2 of it then get some other stuff. She doesnt finish the old product nor throw it away. Is this normal? We are running out of storage space quick. (BTW, she caught me trying to throw away some of her stuff on the sly so I cant do that anymore.)

My wife is driving me crazy..why would she buy a bottle of some lotion, shampoo, hair spray, etc...uses only.?

You made me laugh when you said she caught you trying to throw some things away. My mother is like that. My sister and I went into the bathroom and threw away a bunch of crap that she hadn't used in years. We went back in there an hour later and the crap was right back on the shelf with a yelling match to boot. ^_^

I found that the best solution slowly throw away the older products that she hasn't touched in a while and then work your way up.

............

Okay, so that's not too great of a solution but you could try negotiating with her and asking her if she would go through her products with you and see which ones she actually uses (which if she's like my mom she'll find a use for anything).

Good luck to you.

EDIT: I thought of another solution. You could purchase her Paula Begoun's "Don't Go To The Cosmetics Counter Without Me." I think she would buy less products if she read this book.

http://shop.paulaschoice.com/product/443...

My wife is driving me crazy..why would she buy a bottle of some lotion, shampoo, hair spray, etc...uses only.?

it is totally normal. we all do that

My wife is driving me crazy..why would she buy a bottle of some lotion, shampoo, hair spray, etc...uses only.?

it's a girl thing!!!we like to make sure we have enough stuff

My wife is driving me crazy..why would she buy a bottle of some lotion, shampoo, hair spray, etc...uses only.?

Um...your asking if I can explain to you the mystery of the female mind??

I'd have an easier time explaining the theory of quantum physics....

Women are a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.

My wife is driving me crazy..why would she buy a bottle of some lotion, shampoo, hair spray, etc...uses only.?

Haha, your wife sounds just like me! Yes, I think it is normal(well, maybe I'm not normal.....hmmm....) for women to only use half of a product and then find something else they like better. We have a tendency to change our minds alot and get bored with the same products over and over and over! Hope this helps.....and good luck getting rid of some of her stuff!:-)

My wife is driving me crazy..why would she buy a bottle of some lotion, shampoo, hair spray, etc...uses only.?

It sounds like she's buying the wrong products. If she hasn't consulted with her stylist (or at least someone well-informed), then you'll be stuck with her half-full bottles until she does!

The problem with over-the-counter products is that there's no guarantee that they'll work for her. A reputable salon will guarantee not only their work, but the products they prescribe and sell. It's a waste of money and space, and can be frustrating.

Have her look for a salon that can actually point her in the right direction - then donate the products she's half-used to a shelter.

My wife is driving me crazy..why would she buy a bottle of some lotion, shampoo, hair spray, etc...uses only.?

LOL.

Perfectly normal.

I've got loads of half-used stuff in the cabinets in my bathroom.

We just like to try new things. I'll admit, it is a bit of an obsession, and we are always trying to find something that works better, smells better, makes us feel better. It's just nice to pamper yourself.

Maybe you could pamper her and she wouldn't feel the need to have so many things like that? Just a thought. Get her regular massages and spa treatments if she likes going to the spa. Then she may not feel the need to try so many new ways to feel good about herself (If that's the reason she's doing it..some of us just like trying new things and buy the latest thing that comes out) ;-)

My wife is driving me crazy..why would she buy a bottle of some lotion, shampoo, hair spray, etc...uses only.?

When my Hubby gets on me about the dozens of half used product bottles and jars in our cupboard I tell him he's lucky I don't collect expensive shoes or jewelry! You are lucky too! What's the harm here? I think most women do the same thing. You might help her out and clear out a shelf that has all your holey tee shirts and ripped up underwear and let her have that space! She'll be so surprised!

So chill out and buy her a sephora gift certificate!

2. Nature's Miracle...this is a spot and stain remover that is sold for people with pets who go in the house. But it works great for all kinds of spots and stains.

Contact a cleaning service before you do anything else. (The type that clean carpets, or dry cleaners). I had a bad stain in my carpet, and the cleaner said if youwould have called me first I could have gotten it out. Now, you've put different chemicals in and it keeps my chemicals from working the way they should...Still he did a pretty good job. Got more out than I was able to. They have specific chemicals for specific stains and dyes.

Dry cleaner and spot remover.

For all leather and delicate materials.

Do an internet search for it.

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne an

You can get rid of it by clicking your heels together three times and saying there is no place like home, no place like home, no place like home....good luck and don`t fall over. Perfume doesn`t work; see above.

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

The Clap is an STD so needs proper treatment not hairspray!

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

the clap is when you get like weird spots around your genetals. and no i dont think that would work, dont try it if you have it. just go straight to your doctor and dont be embarrassed.

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

omfg. thats funny.

um...the clap is an STD called gonorrhea.

and no, hair spray and cologne will prolly just burn like hell.

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

Syphillis.

If left untreated, it can cause heart problems, insanity and a lot of other problems.

And it's contagious. If you have sex with someone else, you can give it to them.

It can only be cured with antibiotics.

Cologne and hair spray? Where the heck did you hear that nonsense?

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

lol.... ha ha ha ha

tom sawyer has got it

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

that stuff does nothing

the clap is an std

go to your doctor RIGHT NOW (im making you go like im your mother)

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

it is when you put two hands together and make a noise care full your hands may stick together if you use a spray

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

"The clap" is caused by the sexually transmitted organism caused by Neiserria gonorrhae. Studies show that ceftriaxone is the best way to treat this sexually transmitted disease.

Cologne and hair spray will just make your penis burn and make your pubic hair crunchy.

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

The clap originally referred to gonorrhoea, but is used now as a general term for any venereal disease.

Gonorrhoea is a bacterial infection and needs to be treated with antibiotics. There are many different sexually transmitted diseases, most of which can be easily treated.

If you think you are infected go to your nearest SD clinic or see your doctor.

Using grooming products will not get rid of anything and will probably sting a lot.

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

I imagine the clap you are refering to is gonerea my addvice get straight to your doctor, who in turn will direct you to your local hospital to the special clinic, have no worries it is all very personal, confidental etc and treated as such,as for hairspray-? your not the first

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

Its slang for gonorrhoea, which is a nasty STD but can be cured with antibiotics. Go see your doctor if you have the classic "dew drop" from your penis in the morning. If you are a female it may be more difficult to spot until your boyfriend tells you to get to the clap clinic.

If you spray it with cologne it may help the smell but the hair spray? - Why not go the whole hog and gell it !!!

PS My mates and I once told the local moron that a good cure for crabs was to stand in the bath and rub sugar into the affected area each night for two weeks.

When he said it hadn't cured it, we rolled about laughing and told him it was intended to rot their teeth and stop them biting.

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

The "clap" is Gonorrhea, man!! You have to get antibiotic shots for it!! LOL!! You didn't know that?

Hairspray? Yeah, that'd lock it in real good! ROFL!!

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

I always thought the clap meant you had crabs. Then you reach for the jar of blue ointment(purchased at your local drug store)

What exactly is "the clap" and can you really get rid of it by spraying it with cologne and hair spray?

its not the crabs and i dont think it will go away on its own hair spay will keep your pub hair where you want it but wont clear up an STD good luck with that, can you mail me a list of the chicks you slep with so i dont go there ? lol
